The KYY 15.6" Portable Monitor: My review and rating.

My wife and I travel frequently with our laptops. As with many other working business professionals, we need to have multiple application windows open and running to complete our daily tasks. This typically includes email, collaboration and communication apps, and other business applications. This is a lot for one laptop display to handle, and you have to maximize and minimize application windows frequently. Unfortunately, we can't take our workstation office with us, plug into a dock station and enjoy the advantages of extended monitors to accommodate all of these applications. However, I have found the next best thing. A portable, fold-up, external monitor. A portable monitor allows me to now have two screen displays instead of just one, expanding my desktop workspace.

So, I did a little search around Amazon and found the KYY 15.6" Portable Monitor . Talk about travel friendly! It's lightweight, thin and folds making it really easy to slip in a carrying bag or backpack. The display resolution is bright and clear. Here's another feature that I like, the provided USB C cable that connects from your laptop to the display not only sends the video information to the monitor but also provides power to it. So, you only need to connect the one USB C cable from your laptop to the monitor display and you're ready to go! Another feature I like is you can position this display horizontal or vertical. I find it handy to use the vertical display position to better view long Excel spreadsheets files.

If your phone has a USB C port on it (most newer phones do), you can connect your phone to it and share your pictures and videos on it!

Your kids or grand kids can also use it as a gaming monitor which is another plus if you're away from home traveling. It's compatible with:

This portable monitor makes a great travel companion and it's also nice to have if you simply want to use it with your laptop on the kitchen counter or table with a cup of tea or coffee. I rate this portable monitor 5 stars. I have been very happy with it. It provided the solution I was looking for and more at a reasonable price.
