It seems there are never enough USB port connections when you need them. Many of the newer laptops only provide what are known as USB C type port connections and even those might be limited. Here's the solution: get a USB hub port

A USB hub basically expands your USB connections from one to 4 or more. You simply plug it into one of your USB ports on your laptop or desktop and voila! You have just added more USB port connections! These handy devices are usually plug and play; meaning you simply plug it in, and your computer detects it right away and enables it. Think of it like a power strip that plugs into your home outlet and provides additional plug-ins instead of just one.

This is a great solution for those of us who have many USB connected devices such as a camera, speakers, keyboard and mouse.

My advice is to purchase one that has both regular USB (USB A) and the newer USB C type since many new devices now connect using USB C like this model: LEINSIS 10-Port

USB A (older version)
USB A (older version)
USB C (newer version)
USB C (newer version)

Having a USB hub device will ensure you're never short on USB connections when connecting those additional devices to your PC.
